Some of you may have heard of the post modern emerging church movement that has been growing out of charismatic so called evangelical circles. Now before I continue, I want you to understand that I'm not referring to mainstream Pentecostals, Assembly of God and the sort. I'm talking about a off shoot of the non denominational movement of the past twenty or so years. An extreme perverse farce of ecumentalism that is becoming more and more of a treat to the fabric of main stream churches of every denomination.
Why do I have such disdain for it? Well, first my dislike is not for the people. there are some lovely people who have a heart for worship and for the souls of other people. so much so that all things are comprimiseable to reach them. To this end, they have abandon all doctrine and adopted an open ended theology that is defined by the reason and experience of the individual. By doing this they strip God of His identity and replace Him with the attributes of the individuals heart and mind. No longer do they go to church services to worship God. Now they go to worship centers worship their own ideas. The bible is out and reason and human understanding now define faith. In short you have
